2,310 Scholars, More Opportunities: HTC Strengthens Access to Higher Education

Holy Trinity College of General Santos City (HTC) reaffirmed its commitment to accessible and inclusive education by assisting 2,310 scholarship recipients during Academic Year 2025–2026, the majority of whom came from the bottom 20% of the country’s household income group.

The scholarship program supports students facing financial challenges through government-funded scholarship assistance for families experiencing financial hardship and institutional assessment of working students in need. Through these initiatives, HTC helps reduce financial barriers to education and provides students with greater opportunities to pursue and complete their academic programs.

Building on this achievement, HTC aims to expand its scholarship assistance in the coming academic year, targeting a doubling of the number of scholarship recipients. This goal reflects the institution’s continuing commitment to reaching more students in need and strengthening educational opportunities for those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Through sustained scholarship support and its goal of expanding assistance, Holy Trinity College continues to promote equitable access to higher education and empower students to work toward graduation and a brighter future.
