HTC Joins Regional Seminar and Training for Accreditors

Davao City, Philippines – Brokenshire College, Inc., in partnership with the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities Accrediting Council, Inc. (ACSCU-ACI), successfully hosted the Regional Seminar and Training for Accreditors with the theme “Empowering Accreditors: Innovating Practices, Elevating Standards” on August 13–14, 2025 at its campus in Madapo, Davao City.

The two-day event gathered 29 participating schools from across Mindanao, highlighting the commitment of higher education institutions to raise the bar in academic quality and accreditation practices.

Keynote sessions were led by Mr. Angelito P. Pedreño, Executive Director of ACSCU-ACI, and Dr. Miriam P. Narbarte, President of ACSCU-ACI. Both speakers emphasized the evolving role of accreditors in shaping educational excellence and the importance of adopting innovative standards that respond to the changing academic landscape.

Representing Holy Trinity College (HTC) were its prospective accreditors: Atty. Josemar T. Albano, Atty. Adelin G. Mendoza, Dr. Nemesio F. Ocampo, Dr. Cliff Kirl F. Lubon, Dr. Lily Grace M. Morales, Prof. Faith Jay D. Laviste, Prof. May E. Sindol, Prof. Micrislie C. Mansing, and Sir Charlie P. Seloterio. Their active participation in the training underscores HTC’s commitment to academic quality assurance and institutional growth.

The seminar not only strengthened the professional capacity of accreditors but also fostered collaboration among participating institutions, setting the stage for continuous improvement in higher education across the region.
