Philippine Coast Guard Sign MOA on Community Service and Public Safety

Holy Trinity College and the Philippine Coast Guard signed a Memorandum of Agreement for partnership and collaboration on July 16, 2026, at the HTC Accreditation Room.
Representing Holy Trinity College was Dr. Marilou E. Albano, Vice President for Academic Affairs, while Commodore Jonathan C. Marfil, District Commander, represented the Philippine Coast Guard.
The agreement aims to strengthen community service, promote public safety, and support the development of responsible, informed, and disciplined individuals. It also establishes opportunities for both institutions to conduct programs that support learning, capacity building, and community engagement.
Under the partnership, HTC and the Philippine Coast Guard may jointly organize training sessions, seminars, exposure activities, community service initiatives, and other mutually beneficial programs. These activities are expected to provide students with practical learning experiences while helping address the needs of local communities.
The partnership also highlights the importance of cooperation between educational institutions and public service organizations in developing future leaders who value service, integrity, discipline, and preparedness.
Holy Trinity College expressed its appreciation to the Philippine Coast Guard for its continued commitment to serving the Filipino people and for supporting programs that contribute to student and community development.
HTC also acknowledged the efforts of Prof. Meljie Servito, CWTS Coordinator, and everyone who helped organize and facilitate the signing ceremony.
The MOA marks the beginning of a stronger collaboration between Holy Trinity College and the Philippine Coast Guard in advancing public service, safety education, and community development.
