Cleaner Communities, Greener Futures: HTC Wildcats Join General Santos City-Wide Clean-Up Drive

Holy Trinity College of General Santos City (HTC), through its National Service Training Program – Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS), participated in the General Santos City-Wide Massive and Simultaneous Clean-Up Drive on August 30, 2025, joining other community stakeholders in promoting environmental cleanliness and responsible waste management.

The initiative brought together HTC CWTS students in support of the city’s efforts to maintain cleaner public spaces and encourage collective environmental responsibility. Through their participation, students demonstrated the importance of community involvement in protecting the environment and promoting sustainable practices.

The clean-up activity also provided an opportunity for students to put environmental awareness into action by contributing to waste reduction and the proper care of shared surroundings. Such initiatives help reinforce the importance of preserving natural resources and maintaining healthy, sustainable communities.

Through its participation in city-wide environmental campaigns, HTC continues to integrate environmental stewardship into student formation and community engagement. By encouraging Trinitarians to take an active role in environmental protection, the institution supports collective efforts toward a cleaner and more sustainable General Santos City.
