Holy Trinity College Earns Place in THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026
Holy Trinity College of General Santos City (HTC) has earned international recognition after being included among the Philippine higher education institutions ranked in the 1001–1500 band of the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026.
The recognition places HTC alongside universities and colleges across the country that participated in the global sustainability assessment. The results were featured in a publication by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through its International Affairs Service, highlighting the Philippine institutions included in the 2026 ratings.
THE Sustainability Impact Ratings assess the contributions of higher education institutions toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participation in this international assessment provides an avenue for institutions to report and present data on their sustainability-related initiatives, policies, and contributions across different SDG areas.
HTC’s inclusion reflects its participation in an international benchmarking initiative that recognizes the role of higher education in advancing sustainable development. It also underscores the importance of documenting institutional efforts and measuring their contributions to the global sustainability agenda.
As HTC continues its work toward sustainable development, this recognition serves as an opportunity to strengthen its institutional practices, improve the monitoring of SDG-related initiatives, and contribute to the broader pursuit of a more sustainable future.
