HTC Community Joins Mangrove and Tree Planting for MANA MO 2026

Holy Trinity College of General Santos City (HTC) students and faculty participated in a mangrove and tree planting activity on September 9, 2026, as part of the observance of Maritime Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA MO) 2026.

Members of the HTC Supreme Student Council, selected College of Teacher Education (CTE) students, and faculty members joined the activity organized by the Coast Guard District Southern Mindanao (CGDSM) in collaboration with the HTC academic community.

The initiative promoted coastal conservation and environmental awareness while providing students with an opportunity to take part in hands-on environmental protection efforts.

The activity also strengthened the partnership between the Philippine Coast Guard and the academic community, bringing together students, educators, and maritime stakeholders in a shared effort to protect coastal and terrestrial ecosystems.
