Mass CPR Workshop for National CPR Day

Holy Trinity College participated in a Mass Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Workshop conducted by the Coast Guard Nursing Service Sub-Unit Southern Mindanao on July 17, 2026, at the HTC Elementary School Grounds.
The activity was held in observance of National CPR Day with the theme, “Estudyante’t Titser, Sa Barangay Ating mga Lifesaver.” It brought together HTC healthcare workers, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and student leaders for training on responding to cardiac emergencies.
During the workshop, participants received instruction and practical demonstrations on CPR, proper emergency response, and other basic lifesaving procedures. The activity provided them with essential knowledge and skills that may help them respond promptly and appropriately during emergencies.
The workshop also emphasized the importance of preparedness and the role of students, teachers, healthcare workers, and other community members in helping save lives. By equipping participants with basic emergency response skills, HTC continues to promote a safer and more prepared school community.
The activity followed the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between Holy Trinity College and the Philippine Coast Guard on July 16, strengthening their partnership in public safety, training, capacity building, and community service.
Through initiatives such as the Mass CPR Workshop, HTC reinforces the message that every Wildcat can become a lifesaver.
