The Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities – Accrediting Agency, Inc. (ACSCU-AAI) announced during its 30th National Assembly held at Dominique Hotel in Tagaytay City on May 20-22, 2015 the accreditation status of the following program offerings of the Holy Trinity College of General Santos City:
- Master of Arts in Education – Level I Accredited (3 years)
- Bachelor of Secondary Education – Level II Re-accredited (3 years)
- Bachelor of Elementary Education – Level II Re-accredited (3 years)
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Level II Accredited (3 years)
- Bachelor of Science in Criminology – Level II Accredited (3 years)
- Early Childhood Education Program – Level II Re-accredited (3 years)
- Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management – Candidate Status
The accreditation results were released following a visit by a pool of ACSCU –AAI accreditors in early March this year to evaluate HTC’s compliance to a set of standards in key areas, including its actions on the recommendations from ACSCU-AAI’s immediate past survey in 2011. Key areas evaluated include the Faculty, Curriculum and Instruction, Research, Students, Library, Resources, Social Orientation and Community Involvement and Administration and Organization. The accreditation and re-accreditation of HTC’s exhibit the institutions commitment to quality education and continual process and practice improvement.
