Protecting the Environment Through Responsible Hazardous Waste Management at HTC

Holy Trinity College of General Santos City, Inc. recognizes that proper waste management is essential to protecting public health, preventing environmental contamination, and preserving biodiversity. As part of its environmental responsibility, the College adheres to applicable national and local regulations governing the handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

The institution follows Republic Act No. 6969, or the Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Wastes Control Act of 1990, and DENR Administrative Order No. 2013-22, which establishes the revised procedures and standards for hazardous waste management. These regulations provide guidance on the proper handling, segregation, storage, collection, and disposal of hazardous waste to minimize potential risks to people and the environment.

Its commitment to proper hazardous waste management contributes to a safer campus and supports broader efforts to protect natural resources and biodiversity.
