Sharing Ideas, Shaping Service: An NSTP-CWTS Benchmarking Visit
Holy Trinity College of General Santos City (HTC) continues to enhance its community engagement programs through collaboration and the exchange of best practices with other institutions. On July 18, 2025, HTC’s National Service Training Program – Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS) instructors and coordinator conducted a benchmarking visit to Notre Dame of Midsayap College, Inc. (NDMC) to learn from its approaches to NSTP implementation.
Anchored on the theme “Strengthening NSTP Implementation through Collaborative Learning and Best Practice Exchange,” the visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to share experiences, discuss program practices, and explore approaches that could improve the delivery of NSTP activities. The HTC delegation returned with insights and practices intended to help enrich the College’s plans for Academic Year 2025–2026.
The activity also highlighted the value of institutional partnerships in strengthening programs that prepare students for civic responsibility and community involvement. By learning from the experiences of another higher education institution, HTC seeks to improve its NSTP-CWTS initiatives and provide students with more meaningful opportunities to participate in community development.
Through this collaborative learning initiative, HTC reinforces its commitment to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and partnerships that support quality education and community engagement.
