Community Needs Assessment

The 32-member Educational Management 301 Class of Holy Trinity College Graduate School Program conducted a community needs assessment today at Purok Sarif Mucsin, Baluan, General Santos City, in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the course Policy Analysis and Formulation. The activity was part of the Theory + Concept = Practice approach to learning policy development. The outputs from this endeavor will hopefully contribute to the parallel assessment conducted by the HTC Social Orientation and Community Involvement (SOCI) Team, led by Ms. Gwenn Juanatas.

The students capped the day with mangrove planting and lunch at the village’s beach forest. Purok Sarif Mucsin has been an HTC-adopted community since 2004. Special thanks to Dean Lily Mallare Morales and our dear HTC President, Rey Albano, for approving the activity and providing transportation for the graduate students. GoodHoly!
