Strengthening Community Partnerships Through Collaborative Development Initiatives in Sarif Mucsin
Holy Trinity College (HTC) continues to strengthen its engagement with local communities through collaborative initiatives that promote community development and shared responsibility. On August 30, 2025, Community Development students from the Strategies Development Planning (MSDPL) class participated in the Annual Assessment of Community Extension Initiatives in Sarif Mucsin, Barangay Baluan, General Santos City.
Conducted in collaboration with the Graduate School and the class of Dr. Romeo L. Martin, the activity brought together academic learning and community engagement. It provided students with an opportunity to take part in assessing ongoing community extension initiatives, gain insights into local development efforts, and better understand the importance of working alongside communities in addressing their needs.
The initiative highlights HTC’s commitment to building meaningful partnerships beyond the campus. By involving students and academic units in community-based activities, the College helps foster shared responsibility, strengthen local collaboration, and encourage development efforts grounded in the realities of the community.
Through sustained engagement with Sarif Mucsin, HTC supports a collaborative approach to community development, recognizing that meaningful progress requires cooperation among educational institutions, local stakeholders, and community members.
