Fair Compensation and Workers’ Rights: HTC Promotes Equity, Inclusion, and Employee Welfare

Holy Trinity College of General Santos City, Inc. recognizes that a fair and supportive workplace is built on respect for employees’ rights, equitable treatment, and opportunities for professional growth. The College promotes compensation practices guided by employees’ qualifications, position, work experience, and length of service, regardless of gender. This approach reflects its commitment to providing fair consideration in determining employee compensation.

The institution also recognizes the importance of protecting labor rights, including freedom of association and collective bargaining. In accordance with Republic Act No. 6715 and the Labor Code of the Philippines, HTC acknowledges the right of employees, including women and international staff, to organize, join labor unions, and participate in collective bargaining and other lawful concerted activities without discrimination.

As part of its commitment to workplace fairness, the College upholds equal employment opportunities and recognizes the importance of addressing concerns involving employee rights and compensation. It seeks to maintain a professional environment where employees are treated with dignity and where workplace decisions are guided by merit, qualifications, and institutional standards.

HTC continues to recognize opportunities to strengthen its institutional practices through more formal mechanisms for monitoring pay equity, documenting labor rights protections, and establishing clear procedures for addressing employee concerns. These areas remain important considerations in its continuing efforts to promote decent work and an inclusive workplace.

Through these commitments, Holy Trinity College aims to foster a workplace where employees’ rights are respected, contributions are valued, and professional opportunities are guided by fairness and equal consideration.
