Expanding Educational Opportunities for Underrepresented Groups

Holy Trinity College of General Santos City (HTC) supports inclusive access to higher education by promoting scholarship opportunities and financial assistance programs for students from underrepresented and disadvantaged sectors.

Through its official Facebook page, the College shared information about the CHED Merit Scholarship Program, which provides financial assistance to academically qualified Filipino students, including those belonging to special groups such as Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), solo parents, and underprivileged families.

By disseminating information about these scholarship opportunities, HTC helps raise awareness of available educational assistance and encourages qualified students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds to pursue higher education.

These initiatives support the institution’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, particularly in promoting equal access to educational opportunities and reducing financial barriers to higher education.
