2024 Research International Engagements
Holy Trinity College (HTC) is dedicated to ensuring that its research directly contributes to global sustainable developments. HTC’s active participation in major international conferences demonstrates that HTC, as a body, is proactively engaged in international collaborations to review comparative approaches and develop best practices for tackling the SDGs. Through international collaborations the institution will be able to review comparative approaches of the institution and the participants that will eventually develop international best practices in dealing, promoting and tackling Sustainable development Goals.
Through the 1st IRODEO Conference and the 4th IC-ESSU Conference, as well as the other international events, HTC continuously builds the Partnerships needed to drive change. HTC studies how institutions worldwide are effectively addressing shared challenges. HTC’s engagement with international academic partners and NGO-affiliated research bodies (IFERP) allows for moving beyond theory. This dialogue facilitates the exchange of international best practices, ensuring our research aligns with:
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. The events serve as the platform for international collaborations, building academic networks and engaging with international partners and NGOs (like IFERP) to foster cooperation and collective action.
- SDG 4: Quality Education. HTC’s participation in the conferences promotes research-driven learning, intellectual growth, and the exchange of best practices, ensuring high standards for education and academic excellence.
- SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. The engagements focus on sharing innovative, evidence-based research to develop practical, impactful solutions that support technological advancement and development.
- SDG 5: Gender Equality. The content of the research presented, specifically the study on the “analysis of Women’s Representation,” which directly contributes to assessing media portrayal and advocating for equitable representation or simply it assessed the equality of gender.
