The College of Teacher Education seeks to:

1. advance human knowledge through basic teacher training, and research;

2. develop fully the students’ intellect and explore their human potentials;

3. introduce student-centered, research-based teacher-training curricula;

4. promote the continuing welfare and interest, as well as improve the standards of living of the people of SOCCSKSARGEN region by proving them with a meaningful teacher education program geared towards the present and future demands of an emerging industrial society; and,

5. help enhance the dignity and prestige of the underprivileged and low-income residents by providing low tuition fees, which is the fundamental instrument towards the improvement of their economic status.
