As an educational institution, three stars serve as our moral compass: HONOR. TRUTH. CHARACTER.

We value HONOR, as God has called upon us to do: honor all people. In deference to His will, we give due respect to the worth and dignity of human persons since they are a reflection of His own image and likeness. We acknowledge that honor ennobles self-esteem, so we put premium to the act of honoring any member of the HTC community who deserves the accolade, in the same way that we rejoice in all the awards that we have received from the community that we serve. Honor is the tribute we pay to virtue. By recognizing any honorable act, the doer becomes dignified and inspired to further explore his or her full potentials according to God’s will.

We value the TRUTH because we are an educational institution, committed to the nurturance of lifelong learners. We incessantly search for the Truth because it shapes the quality of our societies as well as our individual characters. Truth is the ultimate objective in learning. By way of truthful knowledge, we achieve wisdom, enabling us to distinguish our
acts as right or wrong, good or evil. Truth is trust, and without trust, we have nothing. As we earnestly discover and embrace the Truth, we please our Divine Master who has comprehended all things as they were, as they are and as they yet will be.

We value CHARACTER for it is the foundation of our being as a child of God. We believe that men and women of good character conscientiously adhere to moral values, not by lofty rhetoric or good intentions. Character is ethics in action, it is the starting point of everything that we think and feel as worth living. Character guides us to be on the right path in fulfilling our vision, mission and goals as an educational institution.

HONOR, TRUTH and CHARACTER lead the way where we are headed to. They are the values that enable us to understand our purpose in life. They enable us to share the GoodHoly! experience.

 

The TRINITARIAN Rays embody the commitment that we uphold as members of HTC community. The eleven rays depict the good deeds by which we can inspire others – our superiors, constituents, subordinates – to live a virtuous life.

I am a TRINITARIAN. I am committed to be…

TRUTHFUL. I value the truth, I spurn any falsity. To me, a life marked with truthfulness makes me a true child of God. Hence, I do not tell lies, cheat or steal.

RESPONSIBLE. I am systematic and orderly in accomplishing tasks assigned to me. I keep my promises and my word as good as my bond. I am mindful of my duties and obligations as a member of the HTC community and as a citizen of our country.

INDUSTRIOUS. I am devoted to useful labor. I am steadily active in realizing my personal pursuits and aims, believing that it is not how grand or simple my accomplishments are that matters. It is my persistence to give my personal best that matters. I do not fail others in accomplishing assigned tasks.

NATIONALISTIC. I am a law-abiding citizen of our Republic. I take pride in being a citizen of our country, of its people, history and culture. I demonstrate high regard to the Philippine flag the sing the Philippine National Anthem with all my heart at all times. I always demonstrate the highest respect to the Philippine flag.

INNOVATIVE. I am familiar with different digital technologies and I am an ICT literate. I am inclined to do research in order to come up with creative works, novel concepts and practices aimed at improving the quality of life. I rely on my critical thinking and creativity skills in doing the tasks assigned to me.

TIME-EFFICIENT. I am punctual and prompt in doing my responsibilities at home and at school. To me, every minute counts and so I have to make the most out of the available time.

ALTRUISTIC. I value everyone else as important as myself. I show deep concern to the welfare of others. I am always ready to lend a helping hand to my brothers, sisters and neighbors, especially the “least”, the “lowly” and the “lost”.

RESPECTFUL. I am modest with my language. I always extend utmost courtesy to others despite our differences in culture, religious views, gender and family background. I am sensitive to other’s feelings, interests and needs.

INVOLVED IN COMMUNITY BUILDING. I immerse myself in various social orientation and community involvement initiatives in my earnest desire to help solve the problems of the society and contribute towards nation-building and peace development in SOCCSKSARGEN region.

ATHLETIC. I am actively engaged in activities. Always full of vigor, can multi-task, combining work and play with happy disposition.

NOBLE. I adhere to the standards of excellence, relying on my God-given talents, practical skills and attitude. I always implore the guidance of the Holy Trinity in whatever activity that I do. I take pride in being a TRINITARIAN.
