HTC INTRAMURALS 2012: FEAST OF THE CHAMPIONS

“Once a Trinitarian always a Wildcat
and once a Wildcat forever a Trinitarian!”

The Holy Trinity College of General Santos City has once again showed its prowess in sports and socio-cultural events in its recently concluded Intramurals 2012 held last September 5-8, 2012. This is also the first time that the Intramurals was held in its new campus, the HTC Trinidad Complex (formerly General Consejo Albano Extension), Barangay San Isidro, General Santos City.

With the theme, “Feast of the Champions,” Trinitarians proved their skills and abilities in different events. Participants from five Colleges – College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), College of Business Management Administration (CBMA), College of Teacher Education (CTE), College of Computer Engineering and Information Technology (CCEIT), and College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) – geared up to win the championship. This activity is also an avenue to prepare the students for the upcoming PRISAA wherein the HTC is the reigning over-all champion for seven consecutive years.

The opening program started with the parade at the Trinidad Complex and followed by the lightning of torch of the different department presidents, SSC Chairperson and the HTC President. Sports competition followed in the following days including the search for Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2012 and other socio-cultural events. The marathon which was gamefully participated by the Chairman of the Board, Atty. Josemar T. Albano, and other friendship games were also included to encourage more participation from the students, faculty and administration.

The closing program of the Intramurals ended with a blast as the intense and excitement of the Trinitarians came to an end. The College of Criminal Justice Education defended their title as they were once again proclaimed as the champion. The College of Business Management Administration bagged the 1st Runner-up, respectively followed by the College of Teacher Education, College of Arts and Sciences and College of Computer Engineering and Information Technology.
